  • Cleaning and Memories

Ever notice that when you try to clean up a room in your home, you sometimes stumble upon memories of the past? Depending upon the memory represented, the cleaning stops and you can be brought back into the past.

While there are usually things which eventually do get thrown out, the rooms I try to clean almost always end up being left as a job for yet another day. :)

  • A look back at the Led Zeppelin Reunion Concert that ROCKED the WORLD!

Back on December 10, 2007 I was at the O2 Arena in London and I had an opportunity to share in a magical moment in the history of Rock and Roll...the reunion of Led Zeppelin.

For myself and for many of the friends I grew up with, Led Zeppelin is on the soundtrack of our childhoods and of our lives. The night of December 10, 2007 was an amazing night for music. And an experience I hope to never to forget. What started out as surreal when I was able to walk around backstage before the concert and literally “hang out” with the artists, managers, and just about everyone associated with the event, to the time I walked into the O2 for soundcheck, and then to the time I decided to give up my seat in exchange to stand in the front line with the people who had General Admission, nothing prepared me for the amazing night of music that I experienced.

The show brought together people from 50 countries. Standing around me was an American from Iraq, a couple from Chicago, a man from Birmingham, a person from Australia and a person whose parents didn’t let them go to see Led Zeppelin in 1977 at Madison Square Garden when they were 12 years old. There seem one thing we all had in common…a love for Rock and Roll and the music and the memories Led Zeppelin gave to all of us.

Since posting this video, “Led Zeppelin Reunion Concert: Rock and Roll” on YouTube, it has been seen more than 200,000 times:

And my “Led Zeppelin Concert Documentary” has been seen more than 10,000 times:

December 10, 2007. An amazing night for music.

  • Connect the Dots. Become a Connector

Open your eyes. Take a look around. Open your mind.

Take hold of the people you know and the new people who you just met and the person you met last week. For some of us, life is a game of connect the dots in motion. The goal seems to be to figure out the relationship between the dots and then figure out what the next step(s) should be.

People who are successful connectors have an inveterate knowledge of this.

Only those of you who are aware of these dots can take advantage of them. The experience which comes from connecting these dots is nothing short of amazing. A world of opportunity awaits those who understand how to connect the dots in their lives.

Try to become self aware of the dots in your life and see what happens when you connect them. The by product of connecting dots generally results in the creation of some amazing business opportunities.

  • Create a Great Memory. Help make Fun Happen TODAY!

I have discovered the effects of "making fun happen" with friends can be magical. In the process we can take ordinary moments and turn them into special moments we remember for the rest of our lives.

Every once in a while, depending upon where I am and the situation around me, I make it a point to help make fun happen.

Every situation is different. But when you can take it upon yourself to do something special (and positive) that changes the atmosphere, you will end up creating great memories.

There are the times you just do something without asking "what is it in for me?" This is one of those times. Yes, "Giving without taking" is an acquired skill. But when you can give of yourself from the heart and let yourself "Share a Little Sunshine" amazing things can happen as a result.

Go ahead. Create a Great Memory. Help make Fun Happen TODAY!
